The company is first established by Mr. Soebekti Hambali under the name PT National Electric Wire Ltd.

The company is renamed PT Dynaplast following a shift in its business focus to plastic injection molding.

On August 5th, under the leadership of Mr. Tirtadjaja Hambali (Dynapack Asia’s current CEO), Dynaplast is listed in the JSX (Jakarta Stock Exchange).

Dynaplast forms a joint venture with PT Rexplast Corporation.

It becomes the first plastic molding company in Indonesia to obtain the internationally recognized, ISO 9002 quality standard.

Dynaplast acquires PT Amcol, a plastic molding company based in Cibitung, West Java. It is renamed Dynaplast Cibitung.

The company receives international recognition for its exemplary performance within the year. It gains recognition as Indonesia’s “Best Managed Companies” by Asia Money and the “World’s 300 Best Small Companies” by Forbes Magazine.

Dynaplast acquires PT Sanpak Unggul, a plastic manufacturing company. It also acquires a 49% equity stake in Berli Prospack Co., Ltd, a plastic molding and injection company with operations in Thailand.

Dynaplast builds Cileungsi in partnership with its client PT Citra Kreasi Perkasa - Philips. It is the first ‘in-plant equipped’ plant for the production of home appliances.

Dynaplast upgrades from ‘BB+’ to ‘A’ by Pefindo, Indonesia’s independent credit rating agency. It is recognized as one of the “World’s Best 200 Companies” by Forbes Magazine and as “Indonesia’s Best Managed Companies” by Asia Money for the third time.

Commences operations as a PET bottle production facility. Becomes a major shareholder (51%) in Berli Prospack Co. Ltd and renamed the company Berli Dynaplast Co., Ltd. Cited anew by Forbes Magazine as “World’s Best 200 Small Companies”. Receives its fourth mention as “Indonesia’s Best Managed Companies” by Asia Money.

Dynaplast receives recognition by Finance Asia for “Best Small Capitalized Companies”. Completes a 6 layer bottle production facility at PT Rexplast Corporation Surabaya, in conjunction with Nestle.

Dynaplast Vietna becomes operational in July. Forbes Magazine names it under World’s Best 200 Smaller Companies under a Billion”. Established a new joint venture to make In-mould labeling (IML) bottles.

Dynaplast implements its Corporate Social Responsibility program.


Establishes Dynaplast 8, a modern injection molding factory in Jababeka, Indonesia.
